We are seeking a Proposal Strategist with a robust background in group insurance to enhance our cohesive and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as a consultant for group insurance proposals, actively ensuring the quality and competitiveness of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage group insurance proposals assigned to you, adhering to established processes:
    • Analyze and interpret proposal requests and requirements
    • Participate in kickoff meetings
    • Develop tailored response strategies
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective proposal management while meeting deadlines
    • Draft clear, high-quality documents
    • Follow the approval and review protocols
  • Ensure proposals effectively showcase iA Financial Group's unique services, maintaining competitiveness and accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process
  • Monitor industry trends and continuously enhance iA Financial Group's service offerings, writing standards, and promotional practices
  • Work with the team to maintain and update the content library
  • Conduct quality control audits of peer proposals when necessary
  • Participate in debrief meetings for all proposals, regardless of outcome
  • Adhere to iA Financial Group's editorial and visual identity guidelines

Candidate Profile

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in group insurance
  • Exceptional writing skills in both French and English, with the ability to craft compelling service proposals
  • Strong influencing capabilities, along with excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills to facilitate discussions with key stakeholders
  • Experience in preparing service proposals and familiarity with the proposal process
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong team-oriented mindset to tackle collective service proposal challenges
  • Capacity to communicate the status of proposals to key stakeholders
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours to meet deadlines for significant proposals
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (complex spreadsheets), MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
