About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to identify clients' financial goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Provide ongoing financial planning and advice to clients to ensure they remain on track to meet their objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of financial planning services.

Requirements

  • University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
  • IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only).
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role.
  • Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently.
