About the Role

Nexus Home renovations and construction corp. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable and even surface.
  • Install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood, laminate, and tile, to meet client specifications.
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Prepare floors for installations, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
Requirements
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in the flooring industry, with a strong understanding of installation techniques and materials.
