About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2436871 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure all entrances and exits are secure, and request proof of payment when necessary.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
