Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our team at Home Hardware. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that they have the necessary training and support to perform their roles effectively.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our stores are well-stocked and that customers can find what they need.
- Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that sales staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including sales staff and other store employees.
- Manage cash and ensure that sales staff are handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales staff to help them improve their performance.
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store as needed.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other store employees.
- Accurate and detail-oriented.
- Client-focused and able to provide excellent customer service.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

- Dependable and able to work independently.

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
