About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overnight Steward to join our team at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently provide exceptional service to our guests, responding to their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, including making beds, restocking linens, and ensuring that all areas are tidy and organized.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and other common spaces.
- Ensure that all areas are safe and free from hazards, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives.
- Upkeep clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas and other kitchen facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Must possess and maintain valid Food Safe certification.
- Physical aspects include but are not limited to: constant standing and walking throughout shift, frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
