Position Overview

Frisco Forming Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled carpenter specializing in concrete forms. This role involves working in various challenging environments, ensuring the highest standards of construction and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to heights and confined spaces.
  • Work in noisy and dusty conditions, primarily outdoors.
Work Setting
  • Engagement in construction and commercial projects.
Expertise Level
  • Maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofing systems.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Access to public transportation.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
