Position Overview: Culinary Service Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other dining essentials to serving areas and set tables.
  • Manage and replace linens as necessary.
  • Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of items including dishwasher mats and waste disposal units.
  • Clear and tidy tables, trays, and chairs after service.
  • Load and organize buspans and trays efficiently.
  • Operate dishwashers to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Store dishes appropriately in designated areas.
  • Restock condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations.
  • Maintain records of food usage and inventory.
  • Portion and package food items for service.
  • Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items for customer service.
  • Assist customers at counters or buffet stations.
  • Stock and maintain refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Take and process customer orders accurately.
  • Utilize kitchen appliances for food preparation and cleaning tasks.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in storage areas.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits for service.

Qualifications:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, ideally ranging from 1 to less than 7 months.
