  • Work with your team to develop and execute an annual territory plan and key customer development plans.
  • Develop and employ tactics to achieve profitable customer growth.
  • Track, assess, and share results internally.
  • Create and deliver quarterly presentations, ensuring the field sales execution direction is in line with sales strategy.
  • Review account coverage and service model on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal deployment to deliver business objectives.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure your team has the knowledge to be successful in different types of retail customers.
  • Ensure the team is effectively managing T&E budgets.
  • Communicate regularly on marketplace dynamics, competitive pressures, and promotional effectiveness internally.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or Comparable (Primary Focus on Business, Sales, and/or Marketing).
  • Track record of success in a similar role.
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry an asset.
  • WSET or ISG Certification an asset.
  • Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of the BC beverage alcohol industry.
  • Proven experience or certification in sales skills and negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills and polished presentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, driven, and disciplined.
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents, as well as effectively utilize web-based tools and resources.
  • Proof of valid Driver's License required.
  • Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Ability to lift wine cases weighing up to 45 pounds.
