The Role

Some developers create software. The best developers create secure software. And the elite developers build the software that helps developers create secure software.

BoostSecurity is seeking Senior Backend Software Engineers to expand our engineering team and contribute to the growth of our product. We are developing technology for technologists, offering an opportunity to work on a high-performing backend team supporting a rapidly growing developer tool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and test features for our high-performance backend and infrastructure, adhering to a Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset.
  • Collaborate with a Product Manager, Designer, and other engineers to deliver in a fast-paced, iterative environment, balancing speed with maintaining a high standard for our code and product.
  • Contribute to enhancing the product's effectiveness and quality, the team's velocity, and continuous deployment capabilities.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove obstacles to their autonomy.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues.
Your Background:
  • A proven track record of developing highly performing, high-quality, event-driven backends.
  • Expertise in building cloud-based backend applications with a microservices architecture.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving issues and performance bottlenecks with event-driven, microservices-oriented backends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-quality Python code.
