The Role

We're seeking Senior Backend Engineers to join our high-performing engineering team and contribute to the growth of our developer tool. As a key member of our team, you'll work on designing, implementing, and testing features for our high-performance backend and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement features for our high-performance backend and infrastructure, adhering to a TDD mindset.
  • Collaborate with a Product Manager, Designer, and other engineers to deliver features in a quick-moving, iterative environment, balancing speed with high-quality code and product.
  • Contribute to improving product effectiveness, team velocity, and continuous deployment capabilities.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow in their technical responsibilities and removing blockers to their autonomy.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues.
Your Background:
  • A proven track record of building high-quality, event-driven backends.
  • Expertise in building cloud-based backend applications with a microservice architecture.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving issues and performance bottlenecks with event-driven, microservices-oriented backends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-quality Python code.
