Position Overview:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking dedicated individuals for the winter season to become integral members of our ice and snow management team.

As part of our organization, you will be responsible for the effective removal and de-icing of snow from commercial, institutional, and industrial sites.

We provide reliable, well-maintained machinery, experienced supervisors, and direct deposit for all employees. Please note that all part-time roles are on-call and contingent upon winter weather conditions. Shifts will be scheduled for accumulating or anticipated snow and ice events, clean-up operations, or freeze and thaw situations. Many shifts will occur during overnight hours.

Applicants must demonstrate flexibility and readiness to work on very short notice, at any hour of the day or night, as determined by weather conditions and operational needs.

Job Requirements:

A valid Ontario G license is mandatory for Lead Positions (driver's abstract required).

Minimum of 1 year of experience in snow removal as a crew leader.

Possession of a cell phone with data capability is essential.

This role may involve operating a sidewalk tractor or snowrator; preference will be given to candidates with prior experience using these machines.

Key Qualifications:

In this position, you will lead a team of crew members, directing them in the execution of snow clearing and de-icing tasks across Clintar properties.

Expectations include evening to late-night starts, extended hours, and availability for weekend and holiday shifts.

This role is on-call and requires 24/7 readiness to respond to weather events at any time.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective leadership abilities, are essential.

Responsibilities include operating snow blowers and hand tools such as shovels to clear snow from paved areas.

Conducting equipment maintenance, including inspections, fueling, and ensuring safe operation is also required.

Ability to lift and distribute over 50 pounds of de-icing materials is necessary.

This position typically spans from November to April, depending on weather conditions.
