Position Overview:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking dedicated individuals for the winter season to enhance our ice and snow management team.

Become an integral part of our operations, focusing on the effective removal and de-icing of commercial, institutional, and industrial properties in the designated service areas.

We provide reliable, well-maintained machinery, experienced leadership, and convenient payment options. All part-time roles are on-call and contingent upon winter weather conditions. Shifts will be scheduled during snow accumulation or anticipated ice events, as well as during cleanup operations. Many shifts will occur overnight.

Applicants must demonstrate flexibility and readiness to work on very short notice, at any hour, as dictated by weather conditions and operational needs.

Essential Requirements:

A valid Ontario G license is mandatory for Lead Positions (driver's abstract required).

Minimum of 1 year of experience in snow removal as a crew leader.

Possession of a cell phone with data capability is necessary.

Experience operating sidewalk tractors or snowrators is preferred.

Key Qualifications:

In this role, you will supervise a team of crew members, directing them in the execution of snow clearing and de-icing tasks for Clintar properties.

This position may require evening to late-night shifts, extended hours, and weekend or holiday work.

Availability is required 24/7 to respond to weather-related events at any time.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective leadership abilities, are essential.

Responsibilities include operating snow blowers and hand tools, such as shovels, to clear snow from paved surfaces.

Conducting equipment maintenance, including inspections, fueling, and ensuring safe operation.

Ability to lift and distribute de-icing materials weighing over 50 pounds.

Employment is typically from November through April, depending on weather conditions.
