GTB Commercial Card Portfolio Management Internship/Co-Op

As a Commercial Cards Portfolio Management Intern/Co-Op, you will play a critical role in driving the Commercial Cards portfolio management initiatives. This includes monitoring the performance of client programs and the general portfolio P&L to identify opportunities for cost avoidance, cost savings, growth, and improved client margins.
Key Responsibilities- Support growth in revenues and customer satisfaction on the Commercial Cards portfolio by generating insights from data to inform product strategy.
- Collaborate with Technology, Sales, and AML/Risk teams to understand product vision, customer impacts, business value, system dependencies, and technological processes.
- Monitor monthly product results to ensure products are performing as expected and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain the end-to-end process map to ensure accountable stakeholders are operating to agreed responsibilities.
- Determine where product gaps may exist with respect to customer needs, competitive offerings, and market trends.
- Understand the voice of the customer and front-line staff to improve product quality.
- Participate in vendor partnership management to support product portfolio.
- Provide ad-hoc support and subject matter expertise to partners as required.
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to prioritize and multi-task, working both independently and within a team environment.
- Great attention to detail, proactive, and responsive to short deadlines.
- Self-starter possessing confidence and initiative; able to cope with changing and evolving priorities while identifying new opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic negotiating skills.
- Understanding of payments, industry trends, and practices, innovative digital platforms, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent Data Management skills, Outstanding Excel knowledge, proficiency in PowerBi an asset.
