Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Handyman/Woman to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repair of our properties, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact licensed contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our tenants and employees.
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and provide excellent customer service.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs as assigned by management.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Work in a variety of environments, including residential and commercial properties.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
