We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Handler to join our team at YK TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD.
Job Summary:The Stock Handler will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing inventory, as well as preparing shipments and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and Inspecting Inventory: Receive and inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and record any discrepancies or damage.
- Storing Inventory: Store inventory in a secure and organized manner, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and accounted for.
- Preparing Shipments: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and assemble containers and crates as needed.
- Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts, and ensure that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Supervising Material Handlers: Supervise material handlers and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
