  • Lead the annual budget process and provide internal budget training and oversight.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting process and produce monthly financial reports to aid the Executive Team and Board of Directors in decision making.
  • Provide direction, oversight, and mentoring to the Accounting team for all activities within the Accounting department, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow management, financial reporting, sales tax, and benefits administration.
  • Participate in and lead special projects relating to organizational growth or adaptability to changing organizational needs.
  • Establish and implement internal controls, and act as escalation point for all internal control concerns relating to the Accounting Department.
  • Support external meetings as required and participate in Board of Director meetings when requested.
  • Ensure that the annual external audit is completed in a timely manner and that auditors' recommendations are implemented accordingly within FPL.
  • Develop and track KPIs for the department.

  • CPA Designation.
  • 5+ years post-designation experience, including 2+ years in a management role.
