Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and youth with therapy needs.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our School-based Rehabilitation Program and provide therapy care to complex pediatric clients within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) community. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and youth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop client-centered therapy care plans based on the students' developmental needs.
  • Provide therapy care to complex pediatric clients within the GTA community, including clients' homes and schools.
  • Facilitate partnerships between families, schools, and healthcare systems to ensure clients' successful participation in school activities and engagement with the curriculum.

Requirements:
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in pediatric therapy is preferred.
  • ADP Authorizer or willingness to be trained is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
