Position Overview

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in a food service establishment, specifically within a restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established control standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure quality presentation.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of 3-4 team members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Transportation and Travel
  • Personal transportation is beneficial; however, public transportation options are available.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced work environment requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical demands include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Tools and Equipment
  • Uniform is required for this position.

Experience
  • Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
