Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with swallowing and communication difficulties.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in video fluoroscopic studies to assess swallowing function.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of dysphagia, with a focus on swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities.
