## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing expert assessment and treatment services to individuals who have suffered traumatic and acquired neurological injuries and severe orthopedic injuries.

## Key Responsibilities

* Provide individual assessment and evidence-based treatment for cognitive communication/language disorders with adults and children post motor vehicle collision (MVC)
* Assist clients in establishing and meeting meaningful goals within the home and community setting
* Liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence

## Qualifications

* Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
* Member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

## What You Need to Succeed

* Experience completing language/cognitive-communication assessments, planning, and implementing therapy activities
* Client-centered approach and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
* Motivated self-starter with superior technical, verbal, and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills (i.e., ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
* Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with different personality types
