This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of an assigned EarlyON Child and Family Centre, working collaboratively with school staff to provide a high-quality, play-based program that meets the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the EarlyON Child and Family Centre
  • Collaborate with school staff to provide a high-quality, play-based program
  • Ensure consistent program delivery and provide a family literacy program
  • Model parent-child interactions and facilitate parenting education
  • Collect relevant data and monitor program registration and attendance
  • Provide a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for children and families
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of early childhood development and knowledge of elementary school operations
  • Two years' experience working with children from birth to age 6 and their families
  • Knowledge of adult education principles and experience working in high-need communities
  • Ability to speak a second language is an asset
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators is required
