About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Zhao's Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory and records.
