Position Overview:

The Currency Processing role is essential for managing monetary transactions within a processing facility. This position involves routine data entry and online transaction input, requiring a foundational understanding of financial products, operational processes, and technology applications. The primary focus is to achieve throughput targets while maintaining high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile cash, coin, and cheque deposits from business clients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare and manage the dispatch and receipt of parcels.
  • Consistently meet defined throughput objectives.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards, as well as the code of conduct.
  • Exercise due diligence in compliance with operational risk policies and procedures.
  • Take personal responsibility for delivering high performance.
  • Collaborate effectively as both an individual contributor and a team member.
  • Ensure thorough examination of all documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • All operations are conducted under surveillance to safeguard all parties involved.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-4 years of experience in cash handling within a processing environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong physical dexterity, along with high keystroke speed and accuracy, are crucial for meeting processing targets.
  • Basic mathematical and accounting skills, including reconciliation abilities.
  • Efficient and precise data entry skills.
  • Effective communication capabilities.
