Key Responsibilities:

The Chief Financial Officer will manage the financial operations, providing strategic guidance, leadership, and coordination in administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership, capable of addressing the unique challenges of working with a high-profile organization. This position demands a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.

This role encompasses:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Formulate and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization's short-term and long-term objectives.
    • Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks; deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish financial targets and assess performance against these benchmarks.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Supervise the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
    • Track and report on budget discrepancies, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
    • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
    • Manage treasury functions, including banking relationships, investments, and debt oversight.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including insurance, investments, and credit risks.
    • Ensure adherence to all financial, tax, and legal obligations; coordinate with legal and tax advisors as necessary.
    • Establish and maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing finances for high-profile clients or organizations.
  • Strong grasp of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
