Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the International Card Services Business in Canada, focusing on margins and financial performance.
  • Lead the planning process for key volumes and P&L for the annual Internal Capital Adequacy process.
  • Collaborate with the broader Finance team and other business partners to advance the vision and strategy of the Finance team and the broader business.
  • Develop and implement financial models and analyses to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Lead a team of at least two individuals and provide guidance and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading teams in complex and multi-stakeholder environments, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS, and other data mining tools, as well as financial modeling and planning.
  • Commercial negotiation experience and knowledge of the Consumer/Commercial Card business.
  • MBA, qualified Accountant, or equivalent professional qualification, with significant tenure in Finance roles.
