Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Burnaby Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
