Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Boom Team Inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and organization.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Restaurant, urban area.
- Transportation: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
