Job Title: Safety Manager, Construction Management Office

Fero International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our Construction Management Office team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our EHS Program, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate and report on all incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety management role, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
