Amazon is redefining the shopping experience for consumers who have specific desires, yet we recognize that not all shopping journeys adhere to this pattern. Many individuals shop to explore, discover, refine their preferences, or simply enjoy the process. Currently, Amazon does not adequately cater to these exploratory shopping behaviors. Our objective is to bridge this gap by creating a novel shopping experience that encourages customers to explore and discover new brands and products through curated feeds of branded content. This initiative will empower brands to narrate their stories and connect with consumers, fostering brand loyalty. As we develop these innovative shopping experiences, customers will have the option to engage in both purchasing and exploratory shopping, seamlessly transitioning between the two. Our initiatives generate billions of brand impressions, and we are just beginning this journey.
We seek an experienced Technical Program Manager to collaborate with product, design, data science, operations, product marketing, third-party integrators, and sales teams to develop new products and brand experiences. Given the strategic significance of this initiative for Advertising and Amazon as a whole, this role will be highly visible at the senior leadership level. The early-stage nature of the product presents opportunities for innovative thinking and demands a strong commitment to customer obsession, a proactive approach, thorough analysis, adherence to the highest standards, and the ability to build trust.
Our projects and initiatives are of great strategic importance and are highly visible to Amazon's senior leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of customer needs, a desire to learn deeply, experience in building consumer-facing products from inception, excellent analytical skills, and the capability to establish trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
