Compounding Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious professional to join our compounding team at Deciem, responsible for ensuring quality in every batch processed.

Job Title: Compounding Specialist

Company: Deciem

  • Process batches to meet department targets and adhere to schedules
  • Clean and sanitize processing equipment for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
  • Prepare various types of batches following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Formulas
  • Check and dispense raw materials safely
  • Operate equipment and perform calibration checks
  • Collect product samples and coordinate with Research and Development (R&D) team
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of batching equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately
  • Maintain general housekeeping of the compounding area

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a mask or respirator when needed
  • Strong communication and math skills
  • Ability to receive coaching and adhere to compliance requirements
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented with knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
