The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing cable signals and associated equipment, repairing cable signals, and diagnosing and locating equipment faults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Cable Signals: Conduct thorough inspections of cable signals and associated equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions.
  • Repair Cable Signals: Effectively repair cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and Locate Equipment Faults: Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and locate equipment faults, and implement necessary adjustments or replacements.
  • Complete and Maintain Test and Service Reports: Accurately document and maintain test and service reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Determine Nature, Cause, and Location of Trouble: Analyze issues and determine the root cause, location, and nature of the problem.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and training to apprentices to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Connect, Disconnect, and Relocate Cable Outlets: Safely and efficiently connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as required.
  • Determine Work Assignments: Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Repair or Replace Faulty Cables, Power Suppliers, and Amplifiers: Effectively repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Hours: The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week.
