About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Design Manager to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative and user-centered design solutions for our business aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of industrial designers and provide guidance on design principles and best practices.
  • Represent the design team in presenting concepts to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct research to inform concept generation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions.
  • Lead the design process from concept to production, ensuring that designs meet technical, financial, and marketing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong design vision and ensure that design solutions align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of design experience, including 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of design software, including 3D modeling, rendering, and CAD.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates design skills, including sketching, illustration, and presentation.
  • Ability to present complex ideas to senior audiences and manage initiatives of a technical, financial, and marketing nature.
