Food Service Manager

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members.
Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing high-quality food and service to our customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular walking and physical activity.
