What you will bring...

Registered Early Childhood Educator:

An Early Childhood Educator Diploma Registered (or proof of registration in process) and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a licensed child care environment working with children aged 0-5 and 6-12 years

Early Child Care Educator:

Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Work / Child and Youth Care or Bachelor of Education or Social Service Worker or Social Work or Recreation and Leisure

General Qualifications:

Experience in leading diverse teams to create environments that foster positive, responsive relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners Relationship building, communication, coaching and mentoring, problem-solving, and critical reflection are essential competencies in your daily work Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification prior to the first day of work Up-to-date immunizations as required by Public Health Ability to perform frequent light to medium physical tasks: lifting up to 20 kg (44 lbs.), bending, and stooping; lifting a child Capability to work outdoors for at least 1 hour daily throughout the year; may be exposed to varying weather conditions Flexibility and adaptability regarding assigned working hours Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and fostering a sense of belonging Applicants must be at least 18 years of age as per Ministry guidelines Legally entitled to work in Canada
