About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Digital Six Consulting. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding and documenting business requirements, and translating those needs into technical requirements that our technology team can build and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Analyze and document business program requirements, including business process modeling, data/class modeling, and other business analysis modeling techniques.
  • Requirements Gathering: Identify and document use cases (scenarios) representing users' workflows and tasks, and assist with the development of business cases, project charters, and project plans.
  • System Development: Perform business analysis activities during all phases of the system development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop detailed functional test scenarios and assist with the conduct of iterative Functional, System, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide status reports to the project manager and facilitate workshops as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in business analysis activities, documentation, system implementation, and support.
  • Education: Computer science, business administration, or other relevant degree.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desired Qualifications: Experience working in a highly matrixed, virtual organization, familiarity with development methodologies, and experience using Microsoft products.
