Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure project setups align with Project Controls protocols and standards.
- Monitor, manage, and report on program and project performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead a team of Cost Control experts.
- Provide advice and propose solutions for issues that may hinder project objectives, along with recommendations to optimize overall project costs.
- Oversee timely and precise updates of cost reports at the conclusion of each reporting period for project control accounts to ensure accurate monthly cost reporting.
- Analyze actual data trends and forecasts.
- Deliver regular updates on project cost status and deviations, suggesting corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure proper tracking and reporting of commitments for purchase orders.
- Provide consistent reports on project time accumulation, analyze budget discrepancies, and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure PMET reporting is accurate, up-to-date, and all variances are documented and justified.
- Contribute to client reporting.
- Prepare forward-looking project and business cash flow projections.
- Support the project Control Managers in coordinating the change management process.
- Lead the implementation of ECOSYS within the project.
- Collaborate with other project controls personnel, including fellow Cost Controllers and planners, to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
- Work with planners to assess deliverables' progress for updating estimates to complete.
- Present findings to team members as required.
- Coordinate with the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) to initiate, review, and issue client invoices.
- Act as the primary contact for all Cost/Finance related inquiries for the project.
- Lead the preparation and support of Government funding applications.
- Execute special assignments, ad hoc reports, and other related tasks as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:
- University degree (Bachelor's).
- A minimum of 10 years of Cost Control experience, up to Lead level.
- Ability to manage multiple requests effectively.
- Capability to oversee Programs (multiple projects and initiatives within a program).
- Mandatory - Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access database, along with Visual Basic programming in both.
