We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and sweep and shovel snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, with minimal supervision, and in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
