Traffic Signals Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Signals Engineer to join our team at Primary Engineering and Construction Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for traffic signals and other infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement electrical systems for traffic signals and other infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
- Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and traffic signal systems
- Prepare and review technical reports, tender documentation, and field support
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and corporate procedures
- Direct and mentor junior staff as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in traffic engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic signal design and operations
- P.Eng. or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Alberta is required
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Safety Code
- Proficiency with engineering software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AGi32 lighting design software
