Operational Technology Cybersecurity Architect

As an Operational Technology Cybersecurity Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technological landscape. Your expertise will be essential in driving major initiatives that address the increasing demand for innovative solutions in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic directions and tactical decisions for the monitoring and control of physical devices within electric power systems.
- Provide guidance on the cybersecurity aspects of Industrial Control Systems, ensuring seamless integration with IT systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to create comprehensive OT security strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Lead and mentor solution architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment with technology standards and efficient execution of business objectives.
- Deliver architecture visions, standards, and guidelines for OT cybersecurity to support operational planning and execution.
- Act as the program or project architect for complex initiatives, ensuring consistency and standardization across architecture elements.
- Participate in OT projects, offering cybersecurity advice and direction to maximize the return on investments.
- Assess and recommend solutions related to physical devices, firmware, software, and communications networks.
- Stay informed on developments in the OT threat landscape and ensure these are addressed in cybersecurity strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of operational technologies and cybersecurity frameworks used in electric utilities.
- Proven experience in delivering architecture and designs as an enterprise or solution architect.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and enterprise architecture methods.
- Familiarity with OT asset monitoring tools and cybersecurity platforms.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience bridging the gap between engineering and IT teams.
