About the Position

The Ottawa Centre for Regional Innovation (OCRI) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its President and CEO. As the organization's chief executive, you will be responsible for refining the organization's vision, setting the strategic direction, and overseeing the day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including municipal, provincial, and federal governments, as well as membership organizations.
  • Oversee the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring timely implementation and effective management of resources.
  • Provide direction, performance management, and developmental support to the executive team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on key performance indicators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in economic development, international investment, and trade.
  • Proven track record of effective management, including experience as a CEO or Executive Director.
  • Demonstrated ability to build sustainable relationships with stakeholders at both the public and private level.
  • Strong understanding of the complexities of government roles and relationships.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
