Interim Part-Time Chief Financial Officer: Strategic Financial Leadership

We are seeking a seasoned Interim CFO to provide financial leadership and manage critical financial initiatives for our clients during periods of transformation, growth, or crisis.

The ideal candidate is a strategic financial leader capable of stepping into complex situations and delivering immediate financial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rapid financial strategies to stabilize cash flow, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage liquidity, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board to align on strategic financial priorities and action plans.
  • Provide financial due diligence and integration support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Implement robust financial controls and risk management processes.
  • Mentor and support finance teams to ensure continuity and effective execution of financial goals.
  • Act as a change agent to drive financial and operational shifts necessary for success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of executive-level experience in Finance as CFO or equivalent.
  • Strong financial, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Incorporated in Canada (if needed, we provide all the resources to help with incorporation).
