Facilities Maintenance Technician

Pilot Company (SSC) is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across a large area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive facility maintenance assessments and perform preventative maintenance repairs to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Complete maintenance work orders and perform minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing services to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with general managers to review and resolve open maintenance issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
- Maintain open communication with dispatch and report steps taken for work order resolution, ensuring timely updates and progress tracking.
- Respond to corporate project requests and surveys, resolving issues and reporting findings to supervisors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with multiple teams and management on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure consistency and compliance regarding maintenance projects, and provide regular updates on project status.
- Advise managers of maintenance concerns and ensure creation of work order requests, ensuring prompt attention to facility needs.
- Utilize various computer systems to track and report maintenance requests, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in company-sponsored safety training classes to enhance technical knowledge and skills, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment within the technician's area of responsibility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose, ensuring exceptional guest and team member experiences, and upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Minimum five years' preventive maintenance experience required.
- Trade or vocational school preferred.
- Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Basic understanding of construction practices.
- Intermediate mathematical skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work both on a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Climb ladders.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work with electric and fuel systems.
- Exposure to inclement weather.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl.
- Travel required up to 85%; varies by region.
