We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at CKS Carpet and Flooring Ltd. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting and resilient flooring on floors
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Work Environment:

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work conditions. You will be required to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and be exposed to dust and noise.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the flooring industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
