Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing working papers, financial statements, and tax returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including corporate and personal income tax returns, GST returns, and payroll
  • Perform general bookkeeping and data entry tasks
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work products
  • Handle and file confidential information as necessary

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Basic experience with accounting software, including Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong typing and computer skills
