Controller Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the Accounting & Finance department's day-to-day operations, including special projects and accounting software. The ideal candidate will maximize profits by establishing policies and procedures that mitigate risk, enhance accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department
  • Manage banking and cash management
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Direct the preparation of annual reports

  • Preserve an efficient accounting system
  • Support and liaise with the General Manager Executives and Owners to meet strategic goals

Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Strong accounting knowledge to handle a complete accounting cycle in a centralized environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to manage people and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Above-average skills with computerized accounting systems
  • Strong analytical skills and budgetary analysis capabilities
  • Exceptionally well-organized and able to adapt quickly to competing priorities
