Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Bento Sushi is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and trained to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
