About the Role
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies for on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Participate in the migration of legacy applications to current technologies, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and perform extensive testing to guarantee high-quality software that meets industry standards.
  • Assist in the development of complex SQL queries, Eloquent ORM, and RESTful APIs to ensure efficient backend communication.
  • Work closely with the development team to implement SSO authentication mechanisms, such as SAML and OAuth, to enhance security and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our web applications.
Requirements
  • Recognized post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with strong presentation and demonstration abilities.
  • Strong attention to UX/UI details to create visually appealing applications that are intuitive and easy to navigate.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience creating large-scale, complex web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Strong expertise in PHP, with proven experience in the Laravel framework.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and front-end technologies.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, Eloquent ORM.
  • Strong understanding of REST and backend communication through API calls.
  • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including.NET Core 6+, is an asset.
