Job Overview:
As a Junior Web Developer at Titan Of Industry Marketing, your main responsibility will be to work with Django on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our web applications. You will collaborate with experienced developers, designers, and key stakeholders to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient web solutions. This position is perfect for someone with a basic understanding of web development who is keen to enhance their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Django Development: Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code using Django. Implement new features, optimize performance, and resolve any issues.
  • Front-End Integration: Work with front-end developers to incorporate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless interaction between components.
  • Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases using Django ORM. Write and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Code Reviews: Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintain best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for code, processes, and applications.
  • Testing: Write and execute unit tests to ensure software reliability and detect potential issues early during the development process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects timely and to specifications.
  • Learning & Growth: Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge of web development best practices, especially within the Django framework.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Some experience with Django through internships, personal projects, or academic coursework. Familiarity with Python is crucial.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of Django and its core components such as models, views, and templates.
    • Proficiency in Python programming.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
    • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
