Housekeeping Supervisor
The Housekeeping Supervisor at Fantasyland Hotel is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service in the housekeeping department. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping staff and ensures that all employees are performing accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
- Act as a liaison between the housekeeping staff and the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective.
- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that quality standards are being upheld, and report results to the Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Management.
- Monitor the department's on-boarding and training processes to ensure that new staff are properly prepared for their roles.
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed in the housekeeping department, and that safe work practices are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a high-volume hotel property.
- Completion of hospitality management training and/or relevant certifications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse teams and mentoring/coaching staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Terms of Employment:
- This is a full-time position requiring flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
